About and criteria

This award recognises the outstanding contribution of an individual to the development and promotion of apprenticeships. This could be from any perspective, local to national, subject-specific to sector-wide. The award is for an individual who goes above and beyond their ordinary duties and can demonstrate at least three years of exceptional effort.

Key questions

  1. Summarise why this individual is an apprenticeship champion. (100 words, 10 marks)
  2. Explain how the individual goes above and beyond to develop and promote apprenticeships. (200 words, 30 marks)
  3. Explain how the individual embraces widening participation in their work. (200 words, 30 marks)
  4. Provide an example of the positive impact the individual’s actions have had. (200 words, 30 marks)
