Entries are open to employers, training providers and individuals involved in the development or delivery of recognised apprenticeships and training in the UK.
The deadline has been extended. All applications must now be submitted by the end of Sunday 8 November 2026. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. Please check your junk or spam folder if you do not see it.
No. Entry to the awards is completely free.
Yes. You can enter as many award categories as you like, but only one application per category will be accepted.
Yes. You can submit an entry on behalf of another organisation or individual. As the application form asks for their contact details, we recommend you speak to the nominee before submitting.
The panel is chaired by Shane Mann, CEO of EducationScape, with Ben Rowland, CEO of AELP, as Vice-chair, and includes leaders from across education, skills and training.
Nominations must be submitted through our online application system before the deadline. Make sure every required field is completed, as incomplete nominations will not be considered. Check the category criteria for what each application needs, including responses to the key questions for that category.
You will receive a confirmation once your application has been successfully submitted. We do not review applications until after the submission deadline, so it is your responsibility to make sure your application is complete. Incomplete applications will be removed.
The Apprenticeship and Training Awards is a competitive process across 19 categories. Nominations opened in July 2026 and, following an extension, now close at the end of Sunday 8 November 2026.
After the deadline, every application is checked against the general entry criteria and then passed to our judges for an initial review. The judging panel meets in late November to decide the winners in each category.
Applicants are notified of the outcome by email on 2 December 2026, and national finalists are announced publicly in FE Week on 3 December 2026. Finalists are invited to a parliamentary reception on Monday 8 February 2027, and winners are announced at the Apprenticeships and Training Conference Gala Dinner and Awards Evening on Tuesday 2 March 2027.
