Entries are open to employers, training providers, and individuals involved in the development or delivery of recognised apprenticeships in the UK.

All applications must be submitted by the end of October 2025. Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. Please remember to check your junk/spam folders if you do not see it.

No, entry to the awards is completely free.

Yes, you can submit entries for as many award categories as you like. However, only one application per category will be accepted.

Yes, you can submit an entry on behalf of another organisation or individual. However, since the application form requires contact details, we recommend you consult with the nominee before submitting.

Nominations must be submitted via our online application system before the deadline. Ensure all required fields are completed, as incomplete nominations will not be considered. Please refer to the awards category information for details on what is needed, including responses to key questions relevant to the category.

You will receive confirmation once your application has been successfully submitted via the online system. Please note, we will not review applications until after the submission deadline. It is your responsibility to ensure the application is complete. Incomplete applications will be deleted.

  1. The Apprenticeship and Training Awards is a competitive process with with 20 categories.
  2. Nominations open in July 2025 and close at the end of October.
  3. After the deadline, all applications are reviewed to ensure they meet the general entry criteria.
  4. Applications are then passed to our judges for an initial review prior to the final judging panel.
  5. The judging panel will convene in late November to determine the winners for each category.
  6. Shortlists for all award categories will be announced in FE Week in December.
  7. A Parliamentary Reception for National Finalists will take place in February.
  8. Winners of the Apprenticeship and Training Awards will be announced at the Apprenticeships and Training Conference Gala Dinner and Awards Evening on Tuesday 3 March.
