Kirsty has been a national programme manager for apprenticeships in the NHS for 8 years. In this time, she has supported employers to make the most of the myriad opportunities that the apprenticeship agenda brings, resulting in approximately 25,000 apprenticeships in the sector year on year. She was part of the team that won AAC’s Outstanding contribution to the development of apprenticeships in 2021. Amongst her current responsibilities is leading a national portfolio of practical support for maths, English and digital skills. Before working for the NHS, Kirsty worked in widening access and participation in the arts and heritage sector.
