Kieren Buxton

With over a decade of experience spanning apprenticeships, skills, and early careers, Kieren brings a deep understanding and passion for vocational pathways. Having entered the workforce through an apprenticeship and currently completing a degree apprenticeship to further upskill, they are a true advocate of lifelong learning. With seven years in management, Kieren has also played a key role in supporting and developing award-winning apprenticeship programmes across various industries and with companies of different sizes, along with supporting apprentices directly to receive the reward and recognition they deserve. A seasoned judge with eight years of experience, including at the National Apprenticeship Awards, Construction Apprenticeship Awards and SME Business Awards, their insight is backed by personal recognition, including being named HM Government East of England Apprenticeship Champion of the Year 2023 at the National Apprenticeship Awards, National Apprenticeship Champion of the Year 2024 at the Annual Apprenticeship Conference Awards and National Degree Apprentice of the Year 2025 at the HM Government National Apprenticeships and Skills Awards.
